David De Gea might not be the only goalkeeper leaving Old Trafford during the transfer window as Spanish counterpart, Victor Valdes is most likely on his way out.
Victor Valdes was excluded from Manchester United’s summer pre-season tour and the goalkeeper refused to play for the reserves team again and Van Gaal described the attitude as unacceptable stating that the former Barcelona shot stopper would be leaving Old Trafford oowing to his attitude. Valdes had stated on twitter that playing him with the under-21s was a sign of disrespect and Van Gaal must have taken exception to that. “When you are not willing to follow those principles, there is only one way and that is out. It is a big disappointment. It is a pity because we have given him the opportunity to rehabilitate, gave him a contract and then he is fit to play.”. Valdes made only two senior appearances for Manchester United, coming on for De Gea when the 24 year old got injured against Arsenal and against Hull City in the final game of the season.
