Japan are set to host the 2020 edition of the biggest sporting event in the world, the Olympic games in 2020. The spectacle happens every four years and in 2020, Tokyo would be hosting the global event and the Japanese capital have unveiled the logo for the games.
The label features a huge T and a red dot (much like the one on the Japanese flag). According to the organizers, the “T” stands for Tokyo, Team and Tomorrow while the red circle represents the power of the beating heart.
The logo was designed by Japanese artist, Kenjiro Sato and according the IOC vice president, John Coastes, reflects the vibrant nature of the city and welcoming spirit of its citizens.
