Swansea City has affirmed their faith in manager Garry Monk by handing him a new contract.
Monk, who played as a footballer for Swansea, was handed a new, improved 3-year contract.
Monk had first been interim manager after Michael Laudrup left the club in 2014, and was later awarded a 3-year contract.
Monk led Swansea to their record Premier League points tally last season as the Swans finished the season in 8th place.
Monk played for Swansea for 10 years between 2004 and 2014.
