Store Blunder Puts Manchester United Adidas Kit On Sale A Week Early

share on:

Manchester United would be moving from Nike to Adidas as their official jersey sponsors on the 1st of August. The jerseys are supposed to go on sale that day but some stores around the world have jumped the gun and put the jersey on sale a week early

A few stores in the United States and in Saudi Arabia reportedly put the new kits on display and on sale ahead of the planned August 1 release. The jersey is set to be priced at 90 dollars per piece and would officially be on sale in a week. Dicks sporting goods store in the United States is one of the stores to have put the kits on sale a full week early

There might be legal ramifications for these actions as Manchester United were supposed to keep the Adidas jersey under wraps until the end of July owing to their agreement with Nike
