Sterling Failed To Show For Liverpool Training, After “Calling In Sick”

It is understood that Raheem Sterling did not show up for training today after calling in sick. The striker earlier said he was planning a strike, in other to force a sale.

Childish really, with interest from City beckoning to the England international, Sterling said he will not be joining Liverpool on tour of Australia and Asia and it seems he failed to show up for training.

Sterling met with manager Brendan Rodgers at Melwood and reaffirmed his desire to leave, while he also insisted that he is not prepared to join his team-mates in their overseas pre-season preparations.

City are the picture of dedicated in getting the youngster should he force a move. And after two attempts have been rebuffed, a third worth £45 million plus addons will soon be brought forward.

Sterling rejected a long term deal worth £100 000 per week in a long term contract, so he could force a move.
