Serena Williams Comes From Behind To Beat Azarenka At Wimbledon

Serena Williams continued her gallant march towards another grand slam victory as she came from a set behind to beat Victoria Azarenka 3-6 6-2 6-3 to advance to the semifinals of Wimbledon.

Azaranka began the match with fire and force Serena to run around the court for most of the first set and took it 6-3 but Serena came back strongly to show why she is the world’s number 1 as her power was too much for Azarenka who was subdued by the American and the 33 year old powered on intot he semifinals.

Serena would be facing Maria Sharapova in the semifinal in a few days’ time and she goes with a lot of confidence knowing that she has won 16 of their last 19 encounters.
