Nico Gaitan has been on the radar of some of Europe’s heavyweights for a while now. While interest in the Argentine has died down in recent months, the SLB star is still a valuable asset and Manchester United may be very close to landing him.
According to metro news, Manchester United are set to negotiate with the player after SLB agreed a 21.5 million euro fee for the fleet footed Argentine winger. The price is below the player’s release clause but Benfica have apparently decided to cash in on the winger while they still can as the player is no longer commanding as much attention as he used to two years ago
Neither clubs have announced the deal but reports from both Portugal and England suggest a deal could be close
