The king is done.

In what will be one of the greatest shocks in Wimbledon history, Rafael Nadal has been eliminated from the tournament by world number 102, Dustin Brown.

The duo matched up on the centre court for their 2nd round matchup, with Nadal still struggling to regain the form he lost due to injury.

Brown had taken the first set 7-5, before Nadal had fought back to even it, taking the second set 6-3.

Dustin Brown took the advantage again with the 3rd set and closed the match up out by winning the 4th set, winning both sets 6-4.

“Playing first time on Centre Court – I’ve never been on the court before – I thought I’d freak out but it felt very familiar,” said Brown after the game.

“My plan was to come & play good tennis. I didn’t think past 9pm tonight.”

It is terrible run of form for Nadal, who hasn’t progressed to the semi-final of a Grand Slam since winning the French Open last year.
