In a bid to secure first team football and ensure his participation in next year’s European football championships, Robin Van Persie has ended his three year stay at Manchester United as he joins Fenerbache for a fee of about 6 million Euros.
Manchester United made a considerable loss on the man who delivered their 20th League title with a match winning hat trick in his first season at Old Trafford when he finished as the highest goal scorer in the league. His fall from grace has been quick and steep and Fenerbache have decided to move in on the player whose Manchester United future was already in doubt.

Manchester United negotiated a deal with Van Persie which saw him settled for the final year of his contract and as he moves to Turkey, he becomes Fenerbache’s highest earner.
