Oh well, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has accused the EPL rivals of trying to buy the title.
Manchester United has made preparations to challenge Chelsea for the title, buying the likes of Memphis Depay, Matteo Darmian, Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger.
City on the hand have spent big also, signing Sterling for £49 million, Fabian Delph for £8 million and Patrick Roberts for £11 million.
Liverpool signed Benteke for £32.5 million, which took their spending to £80 million.
When Abrahimovic took over Chelsea in 2003 he spent big to secure the title. The spending paid off, as Chelsea won the title two years later under Mourinho. The Portuguese manager has accused his rivals of doing the same.
“In the beginning of Mr Abramovich coming to Chelsea, Chelsea was buying the title,” said Mourinho.
“Now, they are buying the title. All of them, they are buying the title.
“It is up to us to be strong and to fight them and, obviously, to try and win it again, even without the big investments.”
