Manchester City And Liverpool Agree Deal For Sterling

share on:

Manchester City had two bids for Raheem Strerling rejected by Liverpool, but they kept at it and Liverpool have finally agreed to let the speedy winger leave Anfield for the Etihad stadium for 49 million pounds.

The deal looked like it would never materialize but Liverpool have decided to cash in on Sterling who had rejected a 100 thousand pound a week deal from the reds last month. Manchester City would now go into personal negotiation s with the 19 year old who is looking to command a salary around 150 thousand pounds a week.

While various Liverpool ex-players including Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carrager have expressed disappointment in the England international for publicly stating his desire to leave the club, the 19 year old’s wishes are set to be granted as the deal that would see the winger join the likes of Vincent Kompany and Sergio Aguero seems to be a matter of time now.
