This might mean he is still valued, but it is obvious he isn’t wanted again. Luis Enrique has said if Pedro is to leave, his release clause must be met.

Pedro became surplus to requirement when Neymar and Suarez joined the Catalans and only featured in 15 liga matches. He has been linked with a move out of Camp Nou.

The versatile attacker’s release clause reduced from €150 million to €30 million. Chelsea and United are interested in them, but Enrique says his clause must be met.

“Pedro? If he wants to go, a club will have to meet his release clause,” Luis Enrique was quoted as saying by Sport.

“I have talked with Pedro to discuss his situation. I have told him how I think about it and he told me how he feels about it.

“I obviously won’t reveal the exact content of the conversation we had.”
