Liverpool have announced a replacement for former captain Steven Gerrard.
Gerrard had quit the team at the end of the 2014-15 season, and his midfield partner Jordan Henderson as been unveiled at the new captain.

The England was delighted with his appointment as he made his first statement as club captain.
“I’m absolutely delighted and proud. It is a great honour and a huge privilege to be named as the captain of this football club,” he said.
Henderson, 25, joined the Reds from Sunderland in 2011, and has made 139 appearances and has scored 17 times.
He has also recorded 22 England caps.
