Kano Pillars have turned back time to hire former manager, Mohammed Baba Ganaru.
Baba Ganaru, who won back-to-back league titles during his first spell with the Pillars, will be replacing the sacked Okey Emordi.
Emordi’s torrid time with the club saw them crash out of the Federation Cup and the CAF Champions League.
Baba Ganaru, who took over at Nassarawa United after leaving the Pillars, resigned to take over in Kano, and will be hoping to restore them to previous heights.
“Kano Pillars have already reached an agreement with Baba Ganaru to become the club’s new technical adviser,” media officer Idris Malikawa said.
“The management has promised to give him all the support and urged him to focus on rebuilding the team,” he said.
