African champions, the Ivory Coast have hired Michel Dussuyer as manager as the Frenchman takes over the Elephants on a two year deal.

Ivory Coast have been on the hunt for a new manager since Havre Renard departed to take a job as manager of Lille in May following the win at the AFCON and reportedly had a list of 59 candidates that was later cut down to 5 before Dussuyer emerged as the best candidate and was hired by the Ivorian Football Federation.

Dussuyer would be tasked with qualifying the champions for the AFCON next in 2017.
