Pep Guardiola has rubbished talks that Mario Gotze is on the brink of a move to Italian side Juventus, he maintains that the German will remain at Bayern.
Gotze signed a four-year contract with the Bavarians when he joined from competition, Dortmund in 2013. The attacker has struggled for regular playing time though.
And with Bayern looking to strengthen their midfield in time for next season are reluctant to let Gotze leave.
Guardiola, though, says that the 23-year-old is going nowhere, insisting he still holds the versatile forward in the highest esteem.
“He’s a top player, one of my team’s players,” he told reporters on Sunday.
“In my mind, he will be available throughout the season which is about to start
