Nigerians should be getting prepared for another round of fuel scarcity as the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC is reported to have run out of petroleum products.
The NNPC which is the major distributor of petroleum products following government’s disagreement with major oil marketers in the country over subsidies is reported to have run out of petroleum products as queues at filling stations are reappearing in several parts of the country.
In the same vein, activities at the various petrol depots in the Apapa axis of Lagos and other parts of the country were grounded on Thursday following very poor supply of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) to them.
Oil marketers believe the NNPC had run out of supply and lack the facilities to handle importation of fuel alone.
However, the NNPC says it still has enough petrol supply to last the country for weeks.
