Fiorentina Chasing Rafael

share on:

Rafael Da Silva looked like he had a future at Manchester United but a series of injuries and the emergence of Antonio Valencia as a bonafide right full back have left the Brazilian as surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.

Manchester United are looking to cash in on the 23 year old who seems set to go the way of his brother and Fiorentina are said to be readying a bid. The last Brazilian to represent Fiorentina from Manchester United, Anderson was quite impressive and the Seria A side seem to be keen on Rafael and reportedly would be making a bid for Da Silva in the coming week.

Rafael is reportedly valued at under 5 million euros.

  1. Anderson was possibly the least effective Fiorentina signing since 2012. And that time period includes Giuseppe Rossi and Mario Gomez no less.
