The Nigerian Government is set to share $1.7billion (about N391billion) from the Excess Crude Account with the 36 states of the federation.

It would be recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari raised a committee headed by VP, Yemi Osinbajo to explore the possibility of sharing revenue from the account with state governors.
