Well Al Ain’s attack will continue to have an African flavor as Nigerian forward, Emmanuel Emenike would the UAE side on a year-long loan replacing recently departed Asamoah Gyan.
Emenike who recently extended his Fenerbache contract has struggled with the Turkish side in recent months as he managed only 4 goals in27 appearances last season and has been shipped out by is manager to gain first team experience and some confidence before returning back. Al Ain on their part would be looking at Emenike’s strength and relative popularity as well as his desire to win as the positives to this deal as they look to adjust to life after Gyan who was very prolific for the club.
Emenike might not be returning to Europe after all. If you remember, Gyan left Sunderland to Al Ain on a loan spell to and now, he plays in China after making the move from the Arabian side he finally joined permanently.
