City Put Eight Past Vietnam, As Sterling Continues Fine Run

Sterling is on a roll and he doesn’t want to stop, the former Liverpool man scored a brace in Manchester City’s 8-1 win over Vietnam.

Sterling wasn’t the only one with a brace, Kolarov and Silva did the same, with Lopez and Pozo completing the rout after which Van Quyet got the consolation goal for Vietnam.

On the 11 minute mark, Kolarov netted a free kick, 9 minutes later, golden boy Sterling got his second goal in a city shirt, as he fired in from 18 yards.

Less than a minute after Sterling’s goal, Silva got his goal. Sterling converted Iheanacho’s pass to get his second of the match.

Sterling was poised for a hattrick after he was brought down in the box five minutes into the second half, but Kolarov rained on his pride and converted from the spot to complete his brace.

On the hour mark, Silva got his brace thanks to a pass from sterling. Lopez got the seventh and Pozo got the eight, Van Quyet got the consolation goal in stoppage time.
