The La Liga fixtures have been released, but we’re all focused on when Barcelona and Real Madrid play against themselves. The first leg is slated for November 8, the 12th week of the season and the return leg is slated for April 8, the 31st week of the campaign.
Both sides won their respective home fixture last term, with Madrid celebrating a 3-1 win at the Bernabeu before a pivotal 2-1 reverse at Camp Nou that played a key role in Barca going on to beat their great rivals to top spot.
The Blaugrana will begin the defence of their title with a trip to Athletic Bilbao on the weekend of August 23, with Madrid travelling to newly-promoted Sporting Gijon. Atletico Madrid, meanwhile, host another new Liga outfit in Las Palmas.
