AC Milan Beat Inter 1-0 In China

share on:

Both Milan teams, Inter Milan and AC Milan are in China for their pre-season tour and both sides clashed to renew a rivalry at the Shenzen stadium in China. Phillipe Mexes settled the tie with a wonder goal in the 62nd minute.

Both sides struggled to get a foothold on the game and there was very little show of quality as Mancini’s men looked to break on the counter often but were uncoordinated in their movement while Milan’s attacker troubles were on full display for the whole game despite Mihajilovic handing debuts to Luiz Adriano and Carlos Bacca. In the 62nd minute however, Mexes met Bonaventura’s corner kick with a volley which flew into the corner of the net from just outside the box. In a bid to defend their lead, Milan had Noccerino sent off late in the game.

Both sides looked off the pace but would continue their preparations for next season in the far east.
