Super Eagles to face Congo and Cameroon: Friendlies for World Cup qualifiers

Nigeria are set to begin their road to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia on an easy note.

The Super Eagles are seeded for the first round of the qualifiers, and will meet the winner of the match between Djibouti and Swaziland in the second round.

The draws took place today in St. Petersburg, Russia.

A number of people have expressed concern over hosting the World Cup in Russia due to its racism problems, with black players like Brazil’s Hulk and Nigeria’s Osaze Odemwingie all having sad experiences in the country.
