Two suicide bomb blasts were reported to have taken place on Thursday afternoon along a highway in Northeast Nigeria, with at least 10 people killed.
According to Borno state police chief, Aderemi Opadokun, a female suicide bomber killed seven and injured thirteen at a village called Malari on the main road from Bama to Konduga, while another suicide bomber killed three in blast along the same road.
A senior civilian JTF source, who pleaded anonymity, confirmed the report to newsmen.
According to the source, two female bombers attacked roadside along Konduga, yesterday, where petty traders sold mangoes, killing mostly aged women and kids.
The casualty figures from Konduga have dramatically increased the numbers of people killed in Borno yesterday alone to at least 160 persons.
