Zambian Singer Arrested After Describing President As A Clueless Man Who Carries A Whiskey-Laden Suitcase

A Zambian musician, Chama Fumba, known as Pilato has been arrested after being accused of mocking President Edgar Lungu  in a song.

Police say the song has the tendency to cause public disorder.

In the tune, the singer mocks a man named Lungu.

The lyrics say he (Lungu) has no ideas but carries a suitcase full of bottles of whisky.

He is expected to appear in court tomorrow.

According to Reuters, if convicted, he could be fined or sentenced to up to six months in prison.
