Theo Walcott has undergone a resurgence, a resurgence with peaked with him scoring the opening goal at the FA cup final. Arsenal don’t want to be involved in a transfer struggle that would involve the former Southampton man and have moved quickly to negotiate a new deal with Walcott.
Walcott is set to be earning about 100,000 pound on the new deal if he signs it and the deal would reportedly keep him at Arsenal for the next four years. Walcott’s contract is set to expire at the end of next season and Arsenal can’t afford to lose Walcott who might be integral to their challenge for the title next season. According to sources, Walcott’s camp is happy with the current negotiation and would be signing a deal anytime soon.
