Amidst rumors that may well hold water that Tevez is set to leave Juventus for Boca Juniors, It seems a replacement has been earmarked and could well be on his way to the Old Lady.
Croatian international Mandzukic is the said replacement and Allegri has praised the forwards ability to always find the net.
The Atletico man is poised to join Juventus on a €18 million fee and Allegri believes the former Bayern man will deliver in Italy.
“We must not try to replace Tevez but rather sign players and see based on them what way we would like to play,” Allegri told Sky Italia. “We have Alvaro Morata, Paulo Dybala and Mandzukic is arriving too.
“Mandzukic is a player who has scored goals in every league he has played in. He has character and is a striker of international level who will do well in Italy.
“We took him because we wanted him, he is a great player and I am very happy with his arrival.”
