The President of Nigeria, Muhammad Buhari, has admitted that his age might not let him accomplish all he would want as president.

At 72 years of age, Buhari is one of the country’s oldest leaders ever.

Buhari had attended the 25th AU Summit in South Africa, and had spoken to Nigerians living in the country shortly after.

“I wish I became Head of State when I was a governor, just a few years as a young man. Now at 72, there is a limit to what I can do,” Buhari said.

He however enthused that his administration would make a difference, saying that it was his love for the country that brought him to power.
