The next Spider-Man film, which is due July 28 2017, also gets a new director in the person of Cop Car director, Jon Watts.

Producer Amy Pascal saidd, “Sony, Marvel, Kevin (Feige) and I all knew that for Peter Parker, we had to find a vibrant, talented young actor capable of embodying one of the most well-known characters in the world. With Tom, we’ve found the perfect actor to bring Spider-Man’s story into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”

  1. I still think Garfield was perfect as spiderman. I personally really like the amazing spiderman movies. I was still in the theatre after watching the second when I started lookin for details on the third… My personal opinion is that they should have continued the amazing spider man movies and just went in a different direction when they teamed up with marvel. All the actors were perfect for their respective roles… Just my 2 cents tho.
