Never Was To Be: Abou Diaby Leaves Arsenal

share on:

Nine years after being called the next Patrick Viera, Abou Diaby has finally called it quits as he has parted ways with Arsenal football club. Yes, up until today, he was still and Arsenal player.

In one of the most unfortunate footballing stories, Abou Diaby, an athletic and pacey defensive midfielder joined Arsenal in 2006 but barely played 30 games for the current FA cup holders as his time at Arsenal was characterized by injuries. Abou Diaby suffered a staggering 40 injuries in nine years and in a certain stretch in 2012 actually picked up three straight injuries without playing a single game. Diaby has finally called it quits with Arsenal and would now look to revive his career elsewhere.

We wish Diaby less injuries in his future sojourns.
