Manchester United have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Brazilian midfielder, Roberto Firmino from Hoffenheim. Firmino is currently in Chile as he represents Brazil in the Copa America. According to ESPN, Manchester United would pay 13 million euros for the Brazilian.
The Hoffenheim attacking midfielder has been linked with a move away from the Bundesliga in the summer but Manchester United were not a primary destination for the Brazilian but Manchester United were looking to bring in an attacking midfielder with the aim of moving Wayne Rooney back into attack as the chase of Gundogan has been stalled in recent weeks.
We are awaiting an official statement from Manchester United or Hoffenheim concerning the transfer deal.
