Liverpool are really keen on strengthening their squad for next season as the Anfield club are set to make Brazilian midfielder, Roberto Firmino their fifth signing in this summer after agreeing a transfer fee of 29 million euros with Hoffenheim.
Liverpool who already have the services of James Milner and Danny ings to go with the signing of Bogdan and youngster, Joe Gomez are looking at the possibility of finalizing the transfer before the week runs out even though Firmino is currently at the Copa America in Chile with Brazil. Firmini has become one of the more sought after footballers in Europe after consistently good performances for the German side in the last two seasons. His performances earned him a Brazil call up and Manchester United and Liverpool were in contention for his signature. Liverpool appear to have won the race and on paper, are looking quite like the side to beat next season.
Firmino would not want to be distracted by the transfer move as with the absence of Neymar, the Hoffenheim man alongside the actual Liverpool man, Phillipe Coutinho would be carrying an enormous responsibility going into the quarterfinals of the Copa America
