Lewis Hamilton showed real class as he cruised to a comfortable victory at the Canadian Grand Prix as he held off Mercedes teammate, Nico Roseberg.
Lewis Hamilton was always ahead from the first lap. Nico Roseberg managed to keep his tires fresh and came after Hamilton towards the end but Hamilton held off his teammate to pick up the win. It was not a great day for Ferrari as they lost one of their drivers but Sebastian Vettel still managed a 5th place finish despite starting outside the grid owing to an engine failure and a 5 place starting penalty due to illegal passing in practice.
Hamilton has now picked up his fourth win in seven races, taking his advantage at the top of the formula one table to 17 points as he looks to defend the championship he won last season.
