Mario mandzukic has completed a move to Juventus as he signed a contract that keeps him with the Serie A champions until 2019. The Croatian cost Juve 13.6 million Euros.
Mandzukic joined Atletico Madrid just last season and scored 20 goals in all competitions for Simeone’s men but was overshadowed by Atoinne Griezmann towards the end of the season as his form dwindled. Mandzukic was offered a chance to return to the Bundesliga but decided to join the UEFA champions league finalists who are looking to bolster their attack and are preparing for the exit of Carlos Tevez who might be leaving next summer. Mandzukic becomes Juventus’s second summer signing and both players are forwards.
At 29, Mandzukik’s signing further boosts Juventus’ reputation as a club for older players in the world.
