Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere has been handed a £40,000 fine by the Football Association for his offensive chants during Arsenal’s FA Cup parade.

Wilshere, 23, had led the fans in chants that mocked their London rivals, Tottenham.

Though he had apologised, he was found guilty of making inciting comments and bringing the game to disrepute, and was handed the fine.

The club acknowledged the England international’s errors after the incident, but revealed they would not be taking action.
