The supreme leader has struck once again as he has blacklisted Instagram.

North Korea has reportedly banned the photo-sharing app in an apparent bid to stop embarrassing news leaking out of the country, Mirror reports.

People that have tried to sign in their Instagram account on a mobile phone network in the country called “Koryolink” have been shown a message written in English which says:

“Warning! You can’t connect to this website because it’s in blacklist site.”

Instagram users were also shown a similar message in Korean which warned of “harmful content”.
