Apparently Ariana Grande is fed up with how society treats women and their relationships, hence her embrace of feminism.
“I’m tired of needing to be linked to a guy, I’m not Big Sean’s ex, I’m not Niall’s new possible girl. I’m Ariana Grande.” she said in an interview while responding to rumours that she’s now a couple with One Direction’s Niall Horan and being described as Kanye West prodigy’s ex.
Grande didn’t stop there, she went further by using her vast social media presence to define a 2015 woman and discuss her personal life.

“HAVING SOMETHING TO SAY… is not the same as HAVING A BAD ATTITUDE. What I meant when I said what I said about not being Sean’s ex is that I am tired of living in a world where women are mostly referred to as a man’s past, present, or future PROPERTY / POSSESSION. I… do not. belong. to anyone. but myself. and neither do you.” Grande writes.
