The kidnapped Regent of Akungba-Akoko, Princess Oluwatoyin Omosowon has reportedly regained her freedom, Today (this morning), after spending more than two weeks in the den of her captors.
According to Daily Post, the Regent, who rules in Akoko South West local government area of Ondo State, was kidnapped by some unknown persons at Ose-Owo road while she was on her away to Akure for a public lecture to be delivered by the Vice Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University (AAUA) at the Federal University of Technology, Akure two weeks ago.
Even though, the State Police Command is yet to officially announce her release, information gathered from residents’ disclosed that she is back.
If we recall, her captors demanded N20million, however, it is unclear whether the ransom was met before her released.
