Battle For The Treble: Juve’s Road To Berlin

share on:

For the first time ever, Juventus is about to seal a treble. It will be a dream come true for Allegri’s men, who have worked hard this season. They’ve stamped their dominance on the Serie A. This term, they won the Scudetto and Coppa Italia.

The Bianconeri had a rough start to the UCL in the group stage, but made it through by ten points behind Atletico. The italian team are surprise finalists and the knockout stage showed what they were made of.

Dortmund tasted italian steel when they faced Juve and were dispatched 5-1 on aggregate. Monaco was a tough one in the quarterfinals, but Vidal’s penalty in the first leg was enough, as they went through 1-0 on aggregate. Current UCL holders encountered the Old Lady in the semis and Ronaldo could not save them, as Tevez and former Madrid player, Morata sent them packing on a 3-2 aggregate.

Now Juventus are missing the backbone of their defence, Chiellini and will face Barcelona with a possibly shaky defence.
