Filippo Inzaghi has been replaced as manager of AC Milan by Sinisa Mihajlovic after just one season in charge of the Serie A giants.

The AC Milan legend endured a difficult first year in full-time management as he guided the Milan club to a disappointing 10th-placed finish last season.

AC Milan put out an official message on it’s website stating

“AC Milan communicate that Filippo Inzaghi has been discharged of his responsibilities as first team coach. The club thank him for his work,”

Former Sampdoria coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has been named as Inzaghi’s successor, penning a two-year deal at the San Siro.
