Yaya Toure is looking to exit Manchester City in the summer and Inter are currently in a race to sign the Ivorian captain. Mancini who worked well with Toure during his time at Manchester City sated that he felt Yaya’s ability and experience would make him an ideal signing as he stated that he needed a midfielder in Pirlo’s mould. “Pirlo is one of the greatest midfielders of the past 15 years,” Mancini told reporters. “Not everyone thought he had made the right choice when he left Milan, but Juventus did very well. If we find a player like that, so be it. Important players of 32 or 33 years of age can still make a difference for Inter. It could be Toure. He’s a great player, but he is a City player, we will see.
Manchester City might however unite Pirlo with Yaya Toure as they look to exchange the midfielder for Pogba
