Welbeck Might Not Make FA Cup Final

Arsene Wenger revealed today that the Arsenal injury curse may just have caught up with Danny Welbeck as the former Manchester United forward could miss the FA Cup final with a knee injury.

Welbeck has not featured for Arsenal since April when he played in the goalless draw against Chelsea as he has battled with knee problem. Wenger however revealed today that the knee injury may continue until June and see him miss both the clash against Aston Villa at Wembley and England’s qualifier against Ireland. “If he is not available for the FA Cup final then I can’t see him being available for England,” Wenger told reporters. Wenger also revealed that he would be resting a fe players on Sunday to keep his squad fresh for the FA Cup final.

Oxlade-Chamberlain and Debuchy are also doubts for the final even though both players are back in training.
