Southampton have launched a 10 million pound bid for Austin, who would be looking to find a premier league club to continue his career with as QPR have let the man who is placed third in the highest scorers’ chart in England down this season.

QPR would be forced to accept the bid as the player might not be willing to go down with them and the London club would be thrown in financial turmoil as a result of UEFA’s FFP rules following their relegation.
