The police force in Plateau State have tightened security in the State for today’s handover ceremony, especially given that things could go out of hand in some corners if allowed.
Deputy Supernitendent of Police in the State, Emmanuel Abuh, says of this;
“Just like we did during the election, we are providing water-tight security all around the state. We have deployed special protection units, including riot policemen in all nooks and cranny of the state.”
The move was put in place to ensure the safety of the citizenry across the State during and after the inauguration ceremony.
