Plateau: 30 People Feared Dead As Soldiers Reportedly Attack Six Villages

Men of the Nigerian army reportedly attacked Kadarko Chiefdom community of Wase Local Government Area of Plateau State killing no fewer than 30 people, Dailypost reports.

It was alleged that the soldiers were angered over the killing of six of their colleagues by some unknown persons.

Chief lot Nden, the traditional ruler of Tarok native in Wase Local Government Area, confirmed the incident.
He revealed that the Army came in their numbers and attacked major Taroh settlements.
Areas attacked include- Saku, Wadata Kasuwa, Wadata mission Kurmi and Kadarko town, all in Wase.
The STF spokesman, capt Ikedichi Iweha and the Police PPRO Emmanuel Abuh are yet to comment on the incident.
