Rumours have started making the rounds that former minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Godsday Orubebe may have defected to the All Progressive Congress (APC).
This shocking unconfirmed report comes after the former minister displayed his extreme loyalty for President Goodluck Jonathan by allowing his dishonourable behaviour prevail during the collation and announcement of the presidential election results.
This disclosure was made known on his twitter handle @ElderGOrubebe on Tuesday.
“I have concluded plans to join my folks in the APC to champion and sustain the movement for a better Niger Delta in the new administration.”
However, a close aide to the ex-minister, who preferred anonymity, has denied the report, as he maintained that Orubebe was still in the PDP.
