Oil Price Climbs Higher To $69 Per Barrel

Multiple sources have it that the global benchmark Brent crude has risen to $69 per barrel. This was widely confirmed from data reaching our correspondents on Wednesday, May 6th, 2015.


Brent shot higher by some 2.5% to hit $69.18 per barrel while the benchmark US oil contract went up $1.60 at $62 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, Punch reports.
