Morata Admits It Was Hard Not To Celebrate

share on:

Alvaro Morata’s goal was what sent Juventus into the final and the former Real Madrid striker said it was hard not to celebrate.

It is an unspoken rule, never celebrating against your former club and 22-year-old Juventus striker, Morata, who moved to Juventus from Real Madrid in 2014 has admitted it was hard not to celebrate.

Morata scored in both legs and I’m sure Ancelotti rues the day he let the Spaniard go.

“This is exceptional. I was very emotional to score a goal, but it was a bittersweet feeling,” Morata told Canal+.

“It was quite hard not to celebrate the goal. It was a weird feeling. But I would react the same again a thousand times.

“It was hard to play against Madrid. I have to thank the fans who have always supported me.”

Juventus face Barcelona next month in Berlin.
