Mayweather Makes It 48-0, Beats Pacquiao On Points

Floyd Mayweather is the undisputed champion. He claimed a unanimous points verdict over Pacquiao to win the richest fight in history.

Mayweather is not only taking home about $200m, he is retaining his WBC and WBA welterweight titles and taking the WBO welterweight title from Pacquiao.

The judges scored the fight 118-110, 116-112, 116-112.

Mayweather bossed the early rounds, before pacman got in a few points in the fourth round, with a couple of strong left hooks to Money’s head.

The American boxer from Michigan dominated the proceedings though and largely stayed out of trouble, with his superior footwork, keeping Pacquiao at arm’s length.

The 11th round favoured Money the most. He fresh and untired, picked off a tired looking Pacquiao at will.

The fight is expected to generate as much $400m.
